The aim of CS Ireland is to be a Christian presence in the Irish surfing community.

You will most likely run into Christian Surfers Ireland at ISA competitions throughout Ireland. We provide free reshreshments at these contests. So if you see us feel free to drop in, have a cuppa or take a flick through a Surfers Bible. With members throughout the whole of Ireland you may bump into us in the water aswell.

In 2005 we attended the Oceans Festival at TBay, Tramore in Waterford. TBay also hosted the Irish premiere of Noah's Arc - the story of pro surfer Noah Synder and how God effected him and his friends.

In October 2005, we ran our biggest contest to date - Walk on Water Surf & Skate Festival at East Strand in Portrush. We ran a surf event and had an indoor skatepark on site. If you attended you would have had the chance to see, Pro skater, Ray Barbee in action on the ramps and with his guitar. Pro surfer, Matt Beacham was also around for the premiere of Noahs' Arc on the big screen. Check out some shots on the photos page.


Christian Surfers International
CS Ireland is part of the wider family of Christian Surfers International, which was started by a young surfer - Brett Davis - in Australia around 1985. Brett felt that surfing and Christianity could go together.

Christian Surfer groups can be found in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Tahiti, Japan, South Africa, USA, South America, Hawaii, Europe and many more.

They are also involved with Surfpackers in South Africa. This is a hostel aimed at surfers just beside Supertubes at Jefferys Bay. Find more info in the links page.
